Rcvd assembled kit, but no serial number

I received an assembled unit from *Rxxxx* and it works, so the bootloader must have been run, but it does not display a serial number and only my initials are displayed instead of my call sign. I can't put in my call sign unless I provide a serial number. I have emailed roWves but while I wait I was hoping someone could tell me an alternate method of getting the serial number from the unit. Can someone help?

Hello OM,

reinstall the Bootloader and afterwards you will see your serial, than reload the Firmware dowloaded with your serial and callsign.
You could also do with Beta Firmware in one step (Bootloader and Firmware in one file), but you won't get a serial than..... i did it so one time.
