Re: Some tuning success but low efficiency...
Yeah, I finally did some measurements to try and calibrate my Shunt value and honestly the efficiency is not too impressive, like 65-70% most of the time. Messing with L15 didn't appear to make a meaningful difference for me (though I didn't try that hard). Oh well, I don't think it matters that muc...

Re: Radio transmits when switching to CW mode
Oh nice! Interesting, yeah I don't know the codebase at all so I couldn't guess whether it's solvable in software but, either way, good to know there's a potential fix for the "changing mode" issue. Looking forward to seeing the result! Thanks so much for the quick response and investigati...

Re: Radio transmits when switching to CW mode
Oh interesting, nice work narrowing down the issue.
Uhhh, actually, I just discovered something. When I have Keyer mode set to Iambic (and no key/paddle plugged in), I can trigger the CW by blowing into the microphone!

Re: RF section tuning issues and 0W on display during TX
Yeah, if you want to check this (and haven't already), touch the solder blob (NOT the wire itself) on either side of each toroid with a multimeter, testing for continuity (there's usually a setting on the multimeter to check for continuity. I think it's usually indicated by the symbol of a diode.) I...

Re: Radio transmits when switching to CW mode
Ah, thanks Manuel, good to know it's a "known" bug. At least that means I don't need to bother doing some extra work like re-flashing the firmware haha ;) If you guys want some help beta-testing a fix for it, let me know. Oh interesting J.J. so you found the bug does not happen when in str...

Re: Some tuning success but low efficiency...
In this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qN7hHsvcNMM Manuel mentions at 11:45 that adjusting the choke inductor (I think that's L15) will affect the efficiency, so you might want to check that. He doesn't go into detail about it though, but that's one thing to investigate.

Re: Incorrect frequency
Yeah, that's exactly the purpose of the reference frequency setting in the menu
Try to adjust it and see the result. It's pretty quick to set, and hopefully once you have it spot-on, you likely won't have to adjust again.

Radio transmits when switching to CW mode
Hi there, I built a trusdx kit (purchased from newdiytech) and everything has proceeded quite well. All the bands quite good from the start, though now I'm doing adjustment to get optimal efficiency and TX power. However, there seems to be a strange bug in the firmware. Very often, when I switch mod...
