Hi Chris,
I do not recognise myself in your assumptions.
I repaired by removing the connector and added some support using 1mm wire.
Considering to add some two component glue so i can pull my caravan with it.

DC-Power connector problem
I keep on having trouble with the PCB mounted DC connector.
It keeps on getting loose. I resolder it but it is only a mather of a verry short time
until it brakes of again.
Obviously this is verry anoying. Is anyone familiar to this problem and can me advise how to solve it ?

Re: Feedback thread for Firmware 2.00t BETA
I had a couple of times a situation where i heard a loud wistle tone dat did not recover.
Even after keying the PTT it did not disapear.
Unfortunately i don't know how to reproduce as i'm also still getting used to the behaviour of the new firmware.

Re: Atmega 328 audio out
Do you have an idea about the output impedance of that pin? I would like to experiment different speakers and I don’t know how it will work with 8, 16 or 32 ohm. I know that the stock speaker is 32 ohm. Thanks Hmmm The Atmega runs at 5V and the max current trough a pin i would at abt 10mA (guessed ...

CAT Audio streaming
Inspired by Manuels recent invitation to create some code for the (tr)uSDX i decided to give it a shot. I created a basic program to stream the CAT audio stream to the PC-Speaker and to my suprise it actualy works quiet well. while typing this message I'm listening to a broadcast station. Of course ...
