Did you follow the mic jack pinout here: https://dl2man.de/4-trusdx-manual/? Does your mic connection conform to this?

Re: Very bad receiving
Did you do the LCD mod to not use the charge pump? If no, you should. If yes, you can also consider my variation on the mod for a brighter LCD, search the forum is that interests you.

Re: Iambic B on startup
Thanks guys! Just got my first Keyer in decades as an incentive to get into CW. ("Back into" would be an exaggeration.) I was already questioning my sanity.... Yesterday I was doing ok?! Why does it not work today. Can't even send A and N in test mode :D -Tobias If you are using an extern...

Re: Modifying a Cheap Baofeng Speaker Mic for (tr)uSDX Use
I have a question... Could a yaesu 3.5mm microspeaker work with a microphone and speaker splitter? Example: https://amzn.eu/d/8MPRsOS Thanks Compare the connections of that cable with the (tr)uSDX connectors: https://dl2man.de/4-trusdx-manual/ I would venture to say the answer is no. 73, Robert, WA2T

All the info you need is on Manuel's website for the (tr)uSDX. The link for the housing files is on the Group Buy sub-page: https://dl2man.de/1-trusdx-group-buy/

Re: High SWR and Power - Bad transformers connections ?
So, then the "processor facing caps" are C7 & C8 on the RF board, yes? Correct. Interesting about C31 and C39 though, I had not looked for or even thought there were additional caps (connected to the same lines) beyond C7 and C8 on the RF board. Regardless, I think this (now) fully de...

Re: High SWR and Power - Bad transformers connections ?
All parts concerned are on the RF board. As for what they do, they 1. Lower the impedance presented to the ATMEGA (reference the data sheet info I quoted) and 2. removal of the second cap stops the “charging” effect I noticed on problem units (values climbing over time).

Re: QRP Labs 50W Amp
As you probably know, that amp is intended for CW. I suspect that it would not work properly with the (tr)uSDX in SSB mode because, well, it’s SSB, albeit SSB generated in a novel way. To use that amp you’d probably need to change biasing to make tha amp linear (as Hans alludes to in the amp descrip...

Re: High SWR and Power - Bad transformers connections ?
If you have the boards out of the case and add "the magic finger" to the components after the detector diodes, the problem goes away for as long as your finger is there, this has been my experience. In my opinion, there is a circuit problem in this area. I revised my units accordingly (com...

There is no IF, this is a direct conversion (to baseband IQ) receiver.

Re: SSB TX sounds way off frequency
It's interesting that you had to decrease the frequency reference setting. Most radios I have seen online, and my own, needed to be increased by about 1 to 1.1 kHz. Just for experimentation, ignore the FT-891 band scope and set a reference frequency of 27001050. See if that improves your SSB audio....

FWIW, the PTT interface does work, I have connected the (tr)uSDX to my RF2K+ amplifier and it works fine.

Re: Efficiency Hocus Pocus - out of ideas
Hello All, I have spent two days working on my ASSEMBLED tr usdx from the authorized seller Uellyqh on ebay. I measured the current draw on receive and subtracted that from the transmit draw. I then measured the PP voltage with my tectronix scope. Did the math and got the RF out on all bands. Did m...

Re: (tr)uSDX - Alternative Band Setups available
Before too much work goes in to fine-tuning these values, would it be possible to re-arrange the filter numbering so that bands shared between configurations use the same spots? Something like this: Proposed (!!) Assignment K1 K2 K3 K4 K5 Lo (current Standard) 20m 30m 40m 60m 80m Hi (Only Hi Bands)...

Correct, the meter only shows in CW mode. Would be nice if the meter worked in all modes but (guessing) maybe available code space constrains what can be done.
