Hi folks

I just finished the assembly of the monster, I have connected the usb cable to the pc, the serial number appears on the oled screen, but the pc detects no new device, what could be happening? some clue ?

Hi Manuel,

I have donwload the usb driver and I have installed before plug the usb --- aferter plug the usb with no changes, I have testing with severals windows versions, with the same result.

Is posible to install the firmware with an alternative method ? I am thinking in arduino port

With arduino works, I think somethings happens with usb port

I had issues with my PC recognizing the (tr)uSDX due to the USB cables. I had two cables that didn't work. The third one finally allowed my PC to see it.

But the power supply from usb worked fine the problem was in the usb data.

Yes my cables all supplied power. But only one made the com port connection to my PC. Something to look at.

In a nutshell - you were trying to use data functions, on a power-only USB cable.

Over ISP installing are the AVR-Dudess paramateres same as you install bootloader or as described in firmwire installation?

My advice is to buy a good USB data cable I have several here at home but I would not trust them.
Went to a local store and bought a good and fresh cable.
Tryed whit an old micro USB cable I had laying around and gave me bad conection on the rig usb port.

Though it looks the same the USB cable that came with the inexpensive charger might work great for charging but only have enough wires for that alone.
