Distorted Audio

What would cause such horribly distorted audio that my signal is completely not intelligible? I used the radio with good success on 4 SOTA activations but recently my signal is terribly distorted.

I had that happen once and a reset fixed it.

Switching off and on again, e.g. unplug and plug the power connector!

For reset to defaults, hold VFO knob down while powering up.
