Has anyone tried 29.6MHZ?

Has anyone tried 29.6MHZ? It seems that FM USB cannot be used. Has anyone successfully connected?

I have a tyt th9800 and tried that a week or two ago. The tyt was able to receive the transmission from the trusdx, but the trusdx could not receive the transmission from the tyt. I am planning to do a bit more testing with an sdr to see where the disconnect is happening.
