Hello everyone.
I recently got a Hy Band board from sunny and wen I was about to solder the female conector I found that the male pin on my main pcb does not fit because sunny provides a round pin socket and mine is a square one from a group buy.
Does any one as a square one or now were can I get one?

And reliability/endurance (with repeated disconnects and reconnects) -wise, does anybody know, which is better, round or square?

My opinion that there are no significant differences.

Hello OMs,
i know that the round ones have been much better on IC sockets compared to the rectangular ones.
The contact resistance was really lower and therefore i think this could also be so for our case here

Square pins are more popular at retailers. In terms of electrical resistance, I couldn't say, but from a mechanical reliability point of view, the subject of the question, there are no differences and in any case it is a characteristic for which there is no need to lose sleep over it. Use whatever you find easiest.
