Edit CW memory message artefacts in 2.00t

Hi folks,
i switched several times between the latest FW and the beta 2.00t.
Beta has 6 CW messages to configure instead of only (i guess) one in the previous version.

Now i got some artefacts in my message buffers, mainly at the end of the already entered messages.
A mitigation is to set the characters at the end all to blancs, but if there are e.g. 6 blancs at the end, the transmission ends after spending some time with these blanc characters, which delays return to RX mode significantly.

How can one delete these trailing artefacs rather than turning them into blancs ?

Did you try just changing them to spaces? Normally the firmware removes the trailing spaces.

Yes, that's exatly what i did, changing all trailing artefacts to spaces. But unfortunately the FW doesn't remove the trailing spaces.
Maybe in the prior version it did, in 2.00t it doesn't
