Small 'putt' noise after tuning

Hello all, received my (tr)usdx a couple of hours ago and looking to seek clarification on a little observation.

When tuning on any band and in any mode, I hear a little low sound about a second after releasing the encoder. It sounds a bit like a very gentle tap on a wooden surface with your finger, and can be heard with or without headphones. No other settings have been changed yet.

Is this normal? Thanks for any help.

Yes normal, you can hear the flash burn to save the frequency in memory.
