Rev polarity issue fixed, but tx only using usb.

Post by mcmarkd »

Well, long story short, I accidentally swapped the ends of a power pole connector killing several tantalum capacitors on a v1 board. I replaced a number of components and can power the radio via 12v, but I get no "measurable" output. FWD-SWR on the (tr)uSDX reads 0.0w 1SWR. However, I does output to a nearby transceiver.

Powering with USB, I see measurable output, 0.9 watts out.

Franky, I'm amazed I was able to power it again, but what am I missing? What 12v path is being cut?

Items checked & replaced:
- Tantalum capacitors, c3, c4, c41
- U2 L78L05
- All 3 FETs

Any help would be greatly appreciated
