Antenna for indoor CW use

Post by Jaker »

Hi guys, I'm a newbie and learning CW on LCWO. I intending to buy a Trusdx from Alieexpress. But I can't have a antenna outside. Is there a antenna for indoor use? Which one do you recommend if there is one or can I build it myself, please point me out to schematics if so. You see, I'm really a newbie.

Hi Jaker,

For receive only, the Best Antenna-Option would be a magnetic loop. There´s plenty of options.

But a mag-loop is a bad Transmit-Antenna. All Indoor Antennas are bad Transmit ANtennas ! You can´t beat physics, as concrete, bricks, cement etc are attenuating radio waves. Let alone all the wires, heating pipes etc.

So for actual ham radio operation, I suggest to create a portable setup and do radio in Nature:

This is, what (tr)uSDX was created for.
