In view of the substantial number of views my recent post attracted https://forum.dl2man.de/viewtopic.php?t ... ded29740ba
I thought it might be helpful to share some information found about attenuators and a power meter for portable QRPP work when using a 5 volt supply.
https://www.qrpkits.com/ under "Accessories" features a number of switchable attenuators suitable for reducing output power down to QRPP levels.
https://www.fbnews.jp/202111/w_shortbreak/ although for an analogue power meter, has some useful data on attenuator calculations and construction.
http://electronics-diy.com/AD8307_USB_0 ... _Meter.php is a digital power meter claiming to read down to 1 nW, but without a display. Since my interest is in digital modes, needing a computer, this can serve as the display. I hope to use a GPD Pocket 2, most suitable for portable work.
