Is there a component I can tweak that will shift the bandwidth filter up the band? My filters seem to be centered a little low for digimodes on all bands (see photo). I've seen the videos about optimizing filters for efficiency, but that looked more like a filter involved with transmission.
Thanks.

Re: BW Filter shift?
Thanks. Do you know if this is normal for the filter to be off a bit like that? I'm just curious if this is a defect, and if I should exchange it for a new device.
If anyone could check their trusdx waterfall on vara with a narrow BW, I would appreciate knowing what the BW filters look like on other people's trusdx's.

OK, a guy on another forum took a photo of his, and it is the same. So it's possible that this is normal.

Re: BW Filter shift?
Hey, I recognize that screenshot!
To achieve success with Vara HF on truSDX I set the filter to 3k and I paid very close attention to the setting in Menu 8.3 Ref Freq. Even so, sometimes I still needed to adjust the VFO +/- to get the signal within the 500Hz Vara HF modem window. The other station's VFO can be off frequency, too.

Re: BW Filter shift?
Haha good to see you. I've been running a wide open 4k filter with decent success. For the narrow band winlink stations, I am able to make 2k4 work, but there's no noticeable benefit that I can tell. I definitely have degraded performance if I use anything smaller than 4k for js8. Thank you again for your help.Constrainted wrote: ↑26 Jan 2024, 01:25 Hey, I recognize that screenshot!

Thanks for sharing your experience. That was a great tip about the polling interval setting for JS8call.
