AVRDUDESS programming

Post by wa4mnt »

I am having difficulty programming my (tr)uSDX. The CH340 port shows up in Device Manager as it should, and entered into AVRDUDESS port window with the correct baud rate, and specific flash .hex file is indicated, however AVRDUDESS v2.17, "Ardiuno" does not show up as a programmer. The closest is "Ardiunio ISP Programmer" which fails when programming is tried. Computer is windows 11. Am I missing something basic?

Problem solved. The new versions of AVRDUDESS do not have "Arduino" listed as a programmer. I downloaded v. 2.14 and "Arduino" was an option and was able to program call into the (tr)uSDX.

I have the same problem as Wa4mnt; Ardiunio does not show up as a programmer in the updated version of AVRDUDESS 2.17 and so unable to update firmware to enjoy spectrum scope !!! Where can AVRDUDESS v.2.14 be downloaded from or is there another work around to this issue?
