Saving a menu configuration

Is there a way to save a particular set of menu configurations, so that is is not erased at shutdown, and retrieved at start-up? Thanks

By default. Power cycle doesn't erase menu settings.

My VOX setting isn't retained. I guess not all settings are retained. Easy enough to set everytime.
