CW message sending now fails

This had been working for over a year with no problem. Now it fails. FW: 2.00t

If I am in the menu and select a text string (for me the first as I have programmed only one) and then do a left button short click, the stored message does not send like it should. What am I missing here?

Yeah, firmware 2.00x does the same! I followed the instructions on the video, and nothing...... no "T" on CW mode 20m to show the CW message is being transmitted.

I'll be wearing my PTT button out!

The oddest thing, I was just running some experiments with an ATS-20+ and the uSDX with a dummy load, and tried the CW again, and it triggers fine.

Hm...... I'm trying to recreate the issue, but somehow it's spontaneously cleared up! I power cycle the device, and CW replay works fine.

I've gone into menu's, changed band, edited messages, all sorts of things - but there is no way to "break" the CW transmit that I've found.

What's really bizarre is it appears to have just started working since a power cycle, and an antenna change! So there's no clear change to the device I can imagine having that effect. It's code after all!

I'll keep trying - but for now...... I can't reproduce the issue I had, and I don't know what fixed it.

Make sure you’re in cw mode before you transmit?

Hey, cw memory worked fine multiple times nefore. Today, I used the beacon once, it broadcasted the message a few times and then I stopped it clicking on the ptt button once.
Checked the RBN for a spot and then I went for the beacon again and nothing. Everything was precisely the same, but no message went out.
Tried power cycling, edited the message, changed modes, bands, etc to no avail.
I'll try it tomorrow again to see if it will work and if I can "break" it with the ptt button again (it's the on board ptt button, no external key was connected nor a mic).
