Hi band "check ptt"

I'm just testing my newly built Hi band TRUSDX and find on initial power-up I get "check ptt" displayed. This disappears when I plug in my key and all seems to work fine.
I didn't have this abnormality on my recently completed Low band model.
Does anyone have an explanation please ( socket seems ok ) ?

Just purchased a ready built (tr) uSDX and have the same issue. The PTT key appears to work OK, it doesn't appear to be shorted. Not sure what the issue is.

Looks like the issue is Mik/Key socket is shorted. Inserted a plug with nothing connected and all is well. Wonder if there is any return policy on a ready built from Amazon?
