USB Audio streaming for MacOS?

I've used the latest firmware with the (tr)uSDX and the driver on Windows 11 to make FT8 contacts from my PC to stations thousands of Km away, but my Windows PC is a huge monster, and isn't exactly great for portable operations. The python "driver" for the USB streaming audio on github says it's only compatible with Windows and Linux at the moment, but MacOS also supports python and VB-CABLE virtual audio devices.

Has anyone else tried getting that combination to work? I suppose a better question is am I about to have to teach myself how to program again? Thanks in advance to anyone that has any info on this!
