Hi,
which differences are there between the beta firmware and the regular firmware?

I´d always encourage people to try and test the Beta. You can always revert back if you don´t like it.
The Beta in this case contains Bugfixes and new faster SSB Generation Algorythm.
It is in total much more performant and responsive. More fluid....
Test it, and tell us what you think.
Also: In Beta you will always have the latest features.

Hi Manuel,
I uploaded the firmware to one of my (tru)sdxs. It really seems to react a lot faster upon pressing the menu button. I wrote down the serial numbers of my transceivers - but: is there a way to find out the serial numbers later if I hadn't done that or somehow lost it (doesn't applay currently)?

We will add a menu later to look it up. Right now, the only possibility is to flash the bootloader again, and then it shows on display.... Sorry, not very convenient.... There´s still a lot to be improved.

The (tru)sdx is not a yaesicwood costing many €$£¥ €$£¥ so I feel fine. And writing down the serial number as well as your naming the file with the serial number is a good workaround currently. Vy 73 de

After the recent release of stable firmware R2.00e (thank you!), is the beta firmware still ahead with its features?
Would it be possible to create a thread with the current version or even a brief changelog for the beta firmware?
Otherwise there is no way to tell when a new beta firmware is released and it's time to update.
