Hello,
I bought my (tru)SDX pre-built from the approved Amazon reseller. After doing a slight frequency adjustment I got my first HF voice contact ever (I have only done digital modes since getting my General ticket years ago) last night with a station in Ohio. I am really enjoying this radio!
I did notice, however, that my power output shows 0.2W with a 12V battery. I connected to a 13.8V power supply and the output went up to 0.3W, but either the onboard display is incorrect or the output is low compared to the input voltages. Could anyone give me advice on where to start? Any guidance would be appreciated.
Output power showing 0.2W on 12V battery. 0.3W on 13.8V Power Supply

Hello.
To find out the output power of my (tr)uSDX I do the following:
1. connect (tr)uSDX to a dummy load
2. switch the menu option on the transceiver to 2.6 Keyer Mode = Straight
3. ensure menu option 2.8 Practice = OFF
4. push the PTT button momentarily on the (tr)uSDX.
I then get the power output in Watts displayed in the upper left hand corner.
Hope that helps.
