S2 back ground noise.

I am a new user to the forum and have had my trusdx for about 1 week plus. I noticed when the antenna is disconnected the radio shows a noise level of s2, obviously being generated from within the rig. Is this Normal?

Yes, this is normal for the (tr)usdx.
