Hello all, I'm using a USB-C power board to deliver 12V @ 1A but when I wire it up to the DC connector it seems like it's getting low-power. Screen is dim and there's a bit of a hum
If I connect the USB to power, then it seems to have full power. Any thoughts on why is being underpowered?
edit: this is weird, now it's powering up fully and with a multi-meter I'm only getting 9v. I'll troubleshoot on the USB power side.
edit: switched my USB-C to a new one, and now it's negotiating 12v. Woo!

Re: Adafruit USB Type C Power Delivery Issues
Hello OM,
better use a battery like 3x 18550 Lipo because these USB-C/any switching power supply generates hum spurs and you will not be lucky with tgem and (tr)uSDX.
Linear regulated power supply or battery is the only good choice for it!
