Is it possible to use a high bands rf board together with a low bands main board?
I tried so but still the low bands are indicated in the menu and there seems to be no receive function. I stopped at that point, assuming the firmware is not compatible. Thanks for any suggestions?

There's only one mainboard, set menu item 8.7 to "Hi" and it will put the right bands in for you.

Warning:
Not only switching Menue 8.7 to the correct band mode,
also adjust Menue 8.1 Tx bias on high and classic to 160
and on low band to 128.
Than all is done to switch from one band version to another
