Build start - q about L15

I have one of the official ebay kits for the classic bands. Have seen some indication that L15 could benefit from being a larger toroid and I have a size 50 that is a little bigger than the supplied 43. Not sure of the gauge of the kit wire, but it looks reasonably thick for winding toroids.

Question - is there enough space in the 3d printed case for a size 50 toroid? I don't have a case yet, so can't test fit.

Question 2 - has this been a good upgrade for the classic bands kit builders?

First step for me is to build stock before I tweak anyway, but wanted to see what the consensus on L15 was. I have a lot to learn, I'm sure!
