Hi All

The (tr)usdx will transmit CW OK, but not SSB or FT8.

When in SSB or FT8 the display shows T but no audio is transmitted.

I am running off 5V and using a cable for FT8 or internal mic for SSB

Voltages around audio input to the 328 are...........

PB4_MISO = 2.6V

AVCC = 4.6V

AREF = 1V

PC2_ADC2 = 0.5V

Could there be a dry joint an still show correct voltages?

I have tried the noise gate at zero, I am using the latest software and have reset the radio 3 times, the mic is fitted the correct way round all with no success.

I have a test meter but no scope

The answer..........

I had not been using a power meter and in SSB & FT8 there was in fact RF output

I was using the on board power meter which does not work in SSB & FT8

Duh!

Thanks for this post! I just went through a similar problem, and finally posted a message looking for help, and then I ran across your post and solution. I immediately connected a power meter and tried again - problem solved! I had been looking at the radio display instead of looking at a power meter!
