Just got the radio this afternoon and quickly did a couple tests.
The radio came very well packaged and included a 6 inch power cord and a BNC adapter for the SMA antenna jack.
The 3d print build quality is very good, it feels very solid and durable.
On the screen of the radio where it should say truSDX it displays my callsign.
The small top buttons, menu, enter and PTT sometimes don't work - this is really annoying.
The sound output from the speaker is loud an clear. Tried a bit of digital modes and stations were reporting to have heard my call.
VOX worked well for FT8 and JS8
The frequency seems to be off about 1200hz. I noticed this first on FT8 where the band seemed shifted up when on frequency, but when tuning the radio up 1000hz, it would look normal. I will test this again in the future.
The power outputs at 12.8v, as displayed on my cheap auto tuner were: 80m 4.6w 40m 3.5w 30m 3.5w 20m 2.7w
Also tried the radio powered from the USB port, showed .8w out on 80m and .5w and lower on the other bands.
I love the form factor, size and power draw of the radio.
Thank you for this unique radio, it's great! Can't wait to get out and try using it now.
