Decoding sideband inconvenience

I would like to report to the designers a inconvenience which however is by no means to be considered an important defect. I was listening in the 20m band and suddenly I was no longer able to decode the sideband. I tried to change to LSB and back to USB, but without success. The remedy was 'turn it off and on again' always works! I was feeding with 11.9 volts
