I (no, now we! My friend Marcel DM3FAM joined) will organize a group buy... but please be patient:

1. I have checked the inventory of jlcpcb.com (vendor for preparing the boards) about the needed/missing components. At the moment some few central components like the ATmega328P-AU are out of stock (and it is out on mouser and many others, too). So YOU MUST WAIT!

2. If we reach the amount of 50 devices this will be a "stop" and close for this buy. Then let's see how it will go on.

i forgot something:
you can easily change the low pass filters for 10m and change it in the Software. You can sacrify another band therefore.
I have a µSDX Sandwich already here with 8 Band filter and changed things as i needed them.
Arduinos C is analog to other C-Codes is quite easy to understand if you have programmed already in other programming languages.

I will organize a group buy...

- as soon as the trUSDX is ready for 10m and...
- at least one other person will help out. Specially with the cases/3D prints and do some addons for the case.

As Manuel said the (tr)uSDX project is no "Wunschkonzert" - take it or leave it. A third way is to wait a bit with the hope some wishes came true (see above).

But some parts we can do by our own: I (will) add a battery pack in a addon case below the trUSDX (or in a new case). Also I will add a BNC there AND a transformer for hy end fed antennas with a switch to pass the antenna straigth to the BNC or go over the transformer (direct plug antenna to BNC).

Some wishes may not come true since they need changes on SW (and or MCU because of limits for the fw size)... for example there are ink based displays out there (google for Adafruit Tri-Color eInk) - increadible! But I don't care - I realy love the (tr)uSDX exactly how it is!

Right now I already ordered (and build some of) 7 truSDX for me and peoples from our DOK A05 (but it was not a offical A05 project). With the experiences from helping, troubleshooting, measurements I also had some "ideas" wishes which cannot be taken in account: F.e. I would increase a lot of solder pads, I would put the display, atmega and maybe some other IC into sockets and so on and so on... but this is the normal way of life: Put two OM together and they want four different TRX!

Sorry for my english and typos... I did not check it againt a translator... I am a too lazy guy.

Let me know if you would help an a group by and if you are interested in a (tr)uSDX. Maybe this group buy will not take place, maybe it would...

Hello Stephan, hello Group,

I am interested in a kit including housing.

Not sure what I am able to contribute but we can see how things go along. I did build things such as transmitters and PAs by myself, however, mostly for much lower frequencies, e.g. longwave and medium wave, hence, those things are much bigger. But nothing that a good pair of magnifying glasses and a calm hand could not solve.
