Display show digits after powering on

Hi,
I used my truSDX and was listening to a 80m station when I noticed the sound got somehow quite. I entered the menu to check the setting and wanted to change the loudness from 11 to 12. The device response seemed to be sluggish, like it took a second before it changed from 11 to 12. So, I tried it again and changed it back to 11 which also took a second. So I unplugged the device which is connected to 3 18650 batterie.
After powering it back on I get the screen as shown in the screenshot.

Tried to reset the device by pressing the rotary button on PowerOn, but no success. Tried to reflash it, no success, get a error message:

avrdude.exe: verification error, first mismatch at byte 0x0000
0x14 != 0x0c
avrdude.exe: verification error; content mismatch

Any idea whats going on?

thanks, that fixed it. Lucky me I had an Arduino Uno and everything.
