After I did a reset as the radio locked up (held rotary encoder down while powering on) I now cannot see the options for the s meter or the LPF, this is my classic build.
If it needs a software update can you please explain how to do this, download etc, I'm old school and not a cumputer geek!

The reason for locking up in the first place was the centre pin of the DC socket having poor crimping, now hard wired the input and using powerpole connectors, a lot better.
On TX It would shut down and go haywire now 100%, funny how you think its a fault in the RF section and a high resistance power connection can throw you.
I don't particularly like these tiny DC sockets, they are well known for this kind of trouble.

I'll be modifying the Low Band radio likewise,
The lead is reinforced with hot melt adhesive at the PCB.
