I have a 20 meter QRP Labs 50W Amp for my QCX plus I'd like to hook up to my newly built (tr)uSDX on 20 m SSB.
Seems like a natural fit given the (tr)uSDX lineage and active low PA jack.
However, I have searched the forums and can't find any reference to this PA.
Is anyone using this amplifier for SSB?

Re: QRP Labs 50W Amp
As you probably know, that amp is intended for CW. I suspect that it would not work properly with the (tr)uSDX in SSB mode because, well, it’s SSB, albeit SSB generated in a novel way.
To use that amp you’d probably need to change biasing to make tha amp linear (as Hans alludes to in the amp description).

Re: QRP Labs 50W Amp
Thanks Robert,
Appreciate your advice. I'll save amplifier for CW only and my QCX rig. No need to fix something that isn't broken.
