Electaft style DL1 dummy load power

Hi, I was wondering what my power level was specifically on 20 and 40. A few years ago I built a copy of the Electaft DL1. This dummy load has a cap and diode so voltage readings can be taken and a power graph is used to calculate piwer in watts. My pre made unit is putting out 5.7w on 40 and 7.3w on 20. Now I'm wondering if this is actually correct or is there another more accurate way to measure. I plan on trying another rig that has a power out setting and using my swr/power meter to cross reference. Thanks, WA1MAD
