Hi All,

My (tr)uSDX after couple months developed problem and I can not turn the volume down. Pressing and turning encoder to the left will switch radio off but volume stays the same. Turning volume up also does not make any difference.

All other functions work OK, I can make QSOs etc...

Any ideas what could cause this problem and how to fix it.

EDIT: I have reset radio but there is still no volume control. Luckly sound level is sufficient to use radio for operations with internal speaker or headphones. Connecting external mini speaker generates too much racket.

Does your Encoder work other then that ?
Does double-tapping the rotary encoder change Band ?
Can you change Frequenzy turning it left and right ?
If both questions can be answered with yes, please re-upload firmware.

Hi Manuel,

Yes encoder works correctly, all functions can be performed. Even changing volume either by pressing encoder or selecting from menu works (values are changing). However actual volume level does not change.

I will reload firmware today or tomorrow and report here.

Finally found some time to play with radio.

Re-flashing firmware worked. Volume control is back.
