I just completed the kit version and have tried both USB power and 12v battery through main power jack. Unit does not show any signs of life. I've checked power at various points on both boards and power seems to be getting to where it needs to go. I haven't made a deep dive just yet. But before I do, any obvious things to look for? The kit isn't exactly complicated, since all the smd components are already installed. Any ideas of where to look first?
Thanks in advance!!

Hello Daniel,
no clicking of relays at start up i think....
check 5V at output of regulator and how many milli Amps does it consume?
Should be about 60 to 80mA in rx as i remember.
Oled has the right pin config?
Where have you bought it? Maybe they forgot to program bootloader
You should at first start see your serial no. and than program with newest firmware with avrdudess and USB with USB driver for CH340 to get a serial connect.
If everything seems to be okay by hardware, than they have forgotten the bootloader,
