gm, oms... new owner of a preassembled unit via amazon... pleasantly surprised by capabilities, size, and features...
i tried three different micro usb cables (which did not work under win10) until i remembered i had an old usb hard drive... then reflashed with my callsign -convenient!
however, i was initially horrified by audio out quality via built-in mic, UNTIL i massaged the tx drive and ref freq settings... optimal for my unit was 3 and 27001500, respectively... i used the record feature of my 705 while transmitting into a dummy
looking forward to having a lot of fun!
