Modifying pcb to fit in peli case

Hi,
I assembled my LO kit and would like to pack everything in a box I have here lying around. Unfortunately the box is just a bit to small but I don't want to use a bigger box. It would be still quite small this way and I can throw the thing in my backpack without protection.

Is this a double layer pcb and can I saw off the marked part without worries?
Thanks! :)

It´s a 4 Layer PCB and I would not recommend sawing off anything.....

There are gerbers available for the boards, so you can check it yourself.

Thanks, I just checked that and the upper part seems to be fine. Didn't expect it to be a 4-layer board. So much respect for Manuel and the great work.
As I like the experimenting factor of ham radio I'll probably try my luck - although not with sawing as I suspect damaging the inner layers but with the milling machine it should work
That would be my absolute dream rig and a high motiviation going outdoors and try qrp

Hey,
Just finished my box, haven't included the electronics yet but I hope it will fit and work. I'm super excited to try my first qso with it outdoors :)
The engraving isn't perfect as I'm not a trained machinist but it's okay
