No conection to pc

Hi,
after almost one Year of working fine, my TruSDX stopped communicate with the Computer. The Trx will not be detected by the Computer. I checked different cable and different systems like windows 10 or Linux Ubuntu. CW and SSB are still OK but I can't update the firmware and not work in digital Modi. No Cat connection.

But Power Supply via USB works.

Is there a damage of the interface or is there anything else I can do?

Hello OM,

have you checked if maybe after an update the CH340G driver is missing in system interfaces (Gerätemanager)? Maybe there changed the enumeration of the COM interfaces to another COM.
If there is not such a simple config error to be found i would replace CH340G chip.
We have no static protection at all of the ports of (tr)uSDX due to simplicity... ESD could have killed it.
You can also do a soft reset by pressing tuning knob while connecting to power.

I could fix it. Indeed the USB cables I used were bad. Two cables i tryed to use are cheap charging USB cables. So if any body ever has problems with detection of the TruSDX look for good Data cables,.
