No CW decoding

Hi,
Today I assembled another (tr)USDX sold by Sunny, that works perfectly, except for CW decoding feature.
The bottom display is filled with strange characters (always the same , like an "!") as decoding proceeds.

1) I did several restart but nothing changed.
2) I did a factory reset, but it did not worked.
3) I changed display with another one, but defect persist.

My opinion is that if it was a I2C comunication related issue, then the entire display should not work properly, but in this case all the other info are correctly reported. Only the last lines are affected (the ones where decode text goes).
Manuel/Guido, any idea about this issue?

I would assume, that something went wrong with firmware programming.
I suggest: At least re-install Firmware. If that doesn´t solve the issue:
Re-Install Bootloader with fuses, then re-install Firmware again.
If that doesn´t help as well, please contact Sunny as your AtMega would most likely be damaged in that case.
