SSB output power without AF input

Hi all,
I assembled my new (tr)uSDX yesterday an tested it at my bench. I'm currently using the beta version 2.00t. I recognized that, if I'm at SSB (LSB or USB), there will be a small RF output power if I press the PTT button with no AF applied. After applying the AF signal while PTT is still pressed, the small RF output is gone when the AF input is removed. It occurs only after pressing the PTT with no AF apllied. Is this a wanted behavier or did I miss someting in the videos or documents?
