CAT PTT releases but not the audio in

I received my (tr)uSDX this past week from New DIY Tech this week. 20 m - 80m. Everything is working fine, used the CW side successfully but I am having an issue when using WSJTX. I am using the rig settings from a friend that match what I have check in the forum as well.
The problem is when the rig comes out of the CAT PTT the input audio chain is not being restored. If I quickly click the PTT button manually on the rig it immediately restores and the audio displays.
I have done a factory reset but to no avail.
Is this a hardware issue or a firmware issue? I am brand new to using the radio so I don't know how to check the firmware version but given I just got this on Tuesday, I am assuming the firmware is the latest.
How should I proceed? Return the unit or update the firmware/

Disable semi qsk.
This is a known bug.

I have similar issue, disabling SemiQSK didn't help
Flrig works fine until I hit flrig PTT.
1. FL rig PTT-button turns yellow for a second, then turns off,
2. (tr)USDX is stuck in T
3. Re-pushing flrig ptt button has no effect
4. If I touch any other control in flrig, (tr)usdx reuturns to R, but withtout audio
5. Audio returns if I reinit CAT connection or touch PTT in (tr)usdx

I have this same problem and I have semi qsk turn off.
Any help will be much appreciated.
