Rig turning on/off when trying to connecto CAT

Post by ea7hql »

Hi all,

I have a problem since I built the (tr)uSDX. I was not able to program via USB wuth the bootloader. However, I uploaded the beta-ISP versión without problems. It is not a problem for me to update using the ISP port, but I couldn't get CAT working. When trying to connect, (I tried with the right parameters, 8N1, 38400 bps for the previous firmware and 115200 for the current) the rig switch off and on again but it does not connect. (The rig is correctly recognized as a serial port, CH340 when I connect the USB port to the PC)
I reviewed the troubleshooting in this forum but I couldn't find a solution. In addition, I did the following searching for a solution:

- Checking carefully all the connections in the board - all seems to be ok
- Substituted the ATMEGA (since I noticed about some batch of defective chips)
- Substituted the CH340

This is the output of AVRdudes when trying to update using the bootloader if it is a hint for someone that suffered the same problem and can help me:

>>>: avrdude -c arduino -p m328pb -P COM6 -b 115200 -U flash:w:"C:\Users\Radio\Downloads\truSDX_52514B324239043919_Firmware.hex":a
