Jumpers on main board.

Post by KA1FT »

Hi Folks, I am building a classic bands model. On the mainboard there are some solder bridge jumpers JP1 thru JP6. I assume these are used to set the number of parallel gates in the driver chip. How should these be set, given that my final is the FDT68256?

thanks

Hello OM,

they are already connected by default with a small pcb connection at the wright position.
Nothing to change there not for 3xBS170 or FDT86256!
Please just look at Manuel's DL2MAN videos of assembly on his youtube channel and you know exactly what to do and how to. This is important for this Kit...
Also look how to adjust/optimize the class-E low pass filters, a must for High/Classic band with FDT86256,
otherwise you will kill the FET!
